Claire Fraser

Claire is a specialist criminal practitioner and has been instructed both alone and as junior Counsel in a wide range of criminal matters ranging from the simple to the more complex.  Whilst instructed in all aspects of crime, Claire has specific expertise in the conduct of cases involving mental health issues and vulnerable witnesses including serious violence, drug related and sexual offences. Most notably, Claire has recently been instructed in the following:

• Junior Counsel in Attempted Murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life
• Defence Counsel in Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm and possession of an imitation firearm
• Defence Counsel in Rape and sexual assault (of a child under 13 years)
• Defence Counsel in Attempted Rape
• Defence Counsel in Trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence (Mental Health issues)
