He undertakes a wide range of criminal cases, exclusively defending, including murder, serious sexual offences, blackmail, offences of violence, counterfeiting, corruption charges and complex fraud. He has acted as a leading junior in serious cases. He also has experience of Extradition committals and related Habeas Corpus hearings in the High Court. R v M (2007) - he represented the lead defendant in relation to a drug importation of over 42 kilos of pure cocaine - involving a wide ranging international operation mounted by UK Customs and Excise in partnership with lead units from Operation Trident.
R v G (2006) Successfully defended alleged head of Nottingham crime family on a serious double stabbing charge.
R v H and Others (2005): represented lead defendant in 30 handed Murder and Conspiracy to commit Violent Disorder case.
R v M & Others (2004): Multi handed murder, home invasion robbery, kidnap and torture case.
