Graeme has a strong practice in criminal law. He has significant experience in cases of serious violence (including murder and attempted murder), conspiracy (to defraud, and large scale importation and supply of class A drugs), and sexual offences (rape and sexual assault).

He is based in London , although his practice extends to Nottingham and the Midlands . Graeme has been instructed as junior counsel, most notably in the successful defence of the Lincoln Prison Riots [2005]; he undertakes instructions in all areas of criminal defence, including firearms, armed robbery, large scale public disorder; with experience of fraud, breach of Copyright and Trade Mark infringements. In addition he has been instructed to represent at the Solicitor's Disciplinary Tribunal.

Graeme is regularly instructed by the Crown Prosecution Service, with wide experience in offences of serious violence, drugs importation and supply, and sexual offences. He also undertakes prosecutions on behalf of the Probation Service and Prison Security Services.

His regulatory work includes advising Trading Standards, nationally, in relation to civil and criminal complainants, and the Office of Fair Trading.

Graeme is an accredited Advocacy Trainer for the Middle Temple .

He is a panel member on the Legal Services Commission Appeals Tribunal.

He co-ordinates the Lecture Programme at 7 Bell Yard and provides CPD accredited lectures on specialist topics, including Criminal Sentencing, the application of the Criminal Justice Act 2003, and The Enterprise Act 2002.
