Michael was called to the bar in 1990 and his practice
covers both the criminal and civil arenas.
In regards to his criminal practice Michael defends in
serious cases of fraud, drug trafficking, rape and child
pornography. He has also defended clients prosecuted by the
Local Authority and the RSPCA.
As to his civil practice he has appeared at the Court of
Appeal to test the admission of fresh evidence and has acted
in serious personal injury cases arising out of sport,
industrial accidents and motor vehicle trauma. Michael’s
article on the case of Langford was published in the
Personal injury Bar Associations Newsletter last year.
He has also acted in a variety of other commercial and
common law actions including clinical negligence and
professional negligence.
