Broad practice and established practitioner of both crime defence and civil law including appellate work. Former legal practice included family law over  ten years including ancillary relief, applications to leave the jurisdiction with children, custody and Local Authority Care Cases.

Serious violence including murder, kidnap, GBH, robbery, drug offences including production and trafficking, sexual offences including rape and child sex offences, dishonesty offences including fraud, false accounting, tax evasion, road traffic offences including causing death by dangerous driving, Revenue and Customs offences including evasion of duty and money laundering, obscenity, perverting the course of justice, intimidation of jurors, arson and criminal damage.

Cases include claims for negligence and breach of statutory duties involving serious road trauma, industrial and sporting accidents. Novel claims include osseo-integration amputee, lost chance cases of professional kick-boxer and pilot, toboggan accident, footballers, pedestrians.
