Michael Nelson
Chambers are delighted to announce that Michael Nelson has been appointed a UK Assessor to Transparency International. As such he attended joint UN and EU roundtable table at the European Parliament in Brussels on the UN Convention against corruption ( UNCAC ).
Transparency International ( Ti ) is the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption. Their work through the 90 worldwide chapters is recognised by the major supranational bodies and organistaions ( UN, EU World Bank and so forth ) as the superlative resource in definition and depth.
Michael is currently preparing a paper on a major UK industrial sector to bepublished in the near future. Details are currently embargoed.

Forensic Access, an independant provider of forensic science in the UK, recently gave a CPD lecture to our Members of Chambers titles 'Blood Pattern Analysis: Ofender, Bystander or Good Samaritan?' It was "An informative lecture on a subject of interest to criminal practitioners provided by a friendly and approachable team who made the science easy to understand"

Claire has recently successfully defended for a client charged with attempted murder. Claire is currently instructed to defend in a double axe murder which is receiving nationwide publicity.
Rebecca Nieto
Rebecca has recently had huge success when defending in a multi-handed armed robbery. Rebecca appeared first on the indictment in front of two silks, one of whom she had to run a cut-throat defence against The Prosecution consisted of Queen’s Counsel leading a junior. The defendant was cleared of all eight counts of robbery and possession of firearms.
Sports and Media Law Quarterly
Chambers’ Sports and Media team is poised to launch the first edition of the Sports and Media Law Quarterly. The publication’s first issue includes articles by Members of Chambers Iain Goldrein QC, Daniel Murray, Elizabeth Lambert and Simon Dent of S J Dent Sports Management who represents the commercial interests of rugby stars Nick Easter and Brian O Driscoll amongst others.
